March 2010 (Arizona to Kansas City)
Arrow, dying of boredom ^
We finally arrived in Kansas City several days later. One of our favorite families (the Halls) let us stay in their house while they were out of town. We had a great time there and were super refreshed.
We got to see our good friends, the Joyners. Roger who looks like D'artanian with his long hair and pony tail, mentored me in the Lord and imparted his life to me for years.
Now they have a beautiful little girl just under Arrow's age named Selah.
This here is one of our best friends, Ben Topel who has just started a business with one of his boisterous friends named Sean. It is an unusual business, but true to Ben's style, it is the best. It is called Soda Vie. Live ginger beer, (similar concept to kombucha, but far more delicious and complex). Last time we talked to them they had signed on a deal with Dean and Deluca and many other people are contacting him about his product. He gave us a special sampling that day. Ben, if you read this, we miss you bro!
We had a sushi party with our Moravian Falls contemplative group who had all returned to Kansas City since we last saw them. Susan Berglund was showing us how to wrap them. Michelle Mutanhu is on the left and Nick Beaver is on the right.
Arrow made his home in a laundry basket at the Hall's house.

Brenda and Rich visited us in Kansas City. Ben Topel stirred by his fond memories of Squirrely and Squirt visited as well.
Arrow and Brenda bonded.
Arrow was pinching my ear and it really did hurt.

Arrow is only 8 months old, but he actually sang with us as we worshiped the Lord this morning. Notice how he starts singing when Aysha does, and pauses when she pauses.
In this video, he actually sings and claps
